Update: Ezekiel Wiggins has been found guilty of indecency with a child by contact.
The trial of a man charged with sexually assaulting two girls gets underway today in 89th District Court after being postponed earlier this year.

Ezekiel Wiggins was arrested in 2011 after authorities say a 13 year old girl said she was assaulted while Wiggins was dating her mother in 2009.

The investigation led to another charge involving an earlier alleged sexual assault of another girl whose mother Wiggins was also reportedly dating in 2005.

The second girl told investigators she had been afraid to come forward because Wiggins had threatened her.

Authorities say Wiggins was a registered sex offender at the time of the assaults.

Today a CPS investigator as well as the forensic interviewer with Patsy's House both testified.

The girls' mothers also testified.

Wiggins' attorney questioned one mother about allegedly saying she had seen Wiggins recently but the woman denied ever saying that.

Testimony resumes tomorrow morning.
