USA Vs. Canada Part 2: Men's Hockey Talk Strategy

The U.S. men's hockey team are getting ready for USA-Canada part 2.
The U.S. women's hockey team was three minutes away from a gold medal Thursday night but a quick fire Canadian comeback of 2 goals in the final minutes sent the game to overtime where Canada netted the game-winner.

Meanwhile the men are getting ready for USA-Canada part 2.

While there is no gold medal on the line, there is plenty of pride when these two meet in the semifinals Friday.

Team USA met with the media Thursday as they prepare for the match up with their neighbors to the north.

Team USA Head Coach Dan Bylsma says, "You look at Canada who can go 20 forwards deep, they only took 14, but with the skill they have in their line, they have MVP's scoring titles."

And Team USA Captain Zach Parise says, "There's always something special for USA-Canada. For us it's about getting back in the the Gold Medal game, regardless of who we play."

While Canada has some of the top firepower in the world it's the Americans who have been lighting the lamp. The US has 19 goals in 4 games and they're scoring with a team approach.

Bylsma says, "You're not looking for a 50-game goal scorer you're not looking for 100 points from a person you have to win a game and you have to win with a goal. "

And with the women's loss tonight, the U.S. men will try to avoid the double Canadian sweep for the second straight Winter Olympics.
