That's "Make It Happen".
And making it happen is what they have done the past two seasons.
In 2011, the team went 2-8, then the Tigers flipped the script to go 8-2 in each of the last two regular season.
Also, you can throw in a district title and 2 playoff berths.
Brian Hodnett, Jacksboro head football coach-"There's two kinds of football players. Those the type that sit back and let life come to them. And then there are the guys that make it happen that find opportunities anyway they can. Just make things happen and control what you can control."
If the Tigers are going make things happen in 2014, they are going to have to do it with a lack of experience.
Only 4 players on this years squad have varsity experience.
One of those players is senior Chase Thompson, who's switching from wide receiver to quarterback.
Chase Thompson, Jacksboro senior quarterback-"I'm excited to play with this group of guys. This is the group I have been playing with all of my life. I have led them to do some awesome things. Back in the past at some lower levels. I think it is going to be an exciting year. We are going to by in and do what is right."
Hodnett-"We are excited because these young guys. Are hungry and they are ready to play on Friday night. They are ready to do somethings that they haven't been able to do. So that is a positive. But the draw back is that we do have a lack of experience and if you are a guy that is willing to make things happen."
The big talk in the area is the Tigers tough district.
With the recent success of the Jacksboro program, they feel they have the foundation to challenge for a playoff spot.
Hodnett-"That's what I love about this group of seniors. A lot of people have written us off. Because they are not the size of class we had last year. And they kinda of have a chip on their shoulder. Because they want to keep this thing going. And be a part of the tradition we have started."
Thompson-"I think it is going to take us buying in and doing what the coaches say. They led us this far and they know what we are talking about."
Hodnett-"We are in a tough district. We have no control over what the other teams are doing. We have control over out attitude and our work ethic. We are guys that trying to make things happen. Any way we are trying to make things happen and find a way to win."
Jacksboro looks to make things happen in their season opener on August 29th on the road against Breckenridge.
