William Jeter also known as "Coach" passed away Saturday at the age of 82.
He's a graduate of Midwestern State University.
During his time there he was a captain on the Indians football team.
He was the defensive line coach for the Wichita Falls High School team that won the state championship in 1969.
He was also athletic director for WFISD and inducted into the Athletic Director Hall of Fame in 2001.
"Coach" is survived by his wife of 58 years Robbie as well as his children and grandchildren.
Funeral services for William "Coach" Jeter will be held at First Presbyterian Church Thursday afternoon at 1:00.
