The Pride of the Raiders Marching Band came marching home, by way of the friendly skies, back home to Texoma.

They'd been across the pond, entertaining audiences in London, England at a concert, and then marching in a New Year's Day parade celebrating 2012 and Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee.

"And this is their first international event.... music is "yellow rose of texas"..."
It wasn't a foggy day in London; it was a soggy day.  But they held up their end of the bargain making sure the show went on as planned.

After that big moment in the international spotlight, and after some sightseeing in England, the band is once again on Texas turf.

The band members say they are grateful to all of you in Texoma who made this trip possible by supporting them in their various fundraising events.  And we can say back to those students, teachers, their chaperones, and parents, we are very proud of your accomplishments!
