The path to the title game hasn't been an easy one.
For their efforts, the Wildcats get our team of the week award.
Jared Brown's TD run clinched a state championship game berth for the Wildcats, the first ever in school history.
"Well we practiced real hard all week. I am glad we came out here and got the w. For the semis. Now we are on the way to Jerry's World," said Crowell running back Jared Brown.
To get to the title game, Crowell had to face number one Water Valley, number 4 Ira and on Monday they beat Valley for the second time this season.
This was Valley's third straight trip to the state semis.
You can see how tough the road was for the Wildcats.
"It is very important. We worked hard all season. We worked hard everyday to put in a great season," said Crowell quarterback Mitchell Parsley.
"It is big for the town of Crowell. Those kids worked their tails off. It has been in the making since last year. When basketball ended they put a lot time in the weight room. And a lot of practice went into it this year. They did a great job. They deserve it," said Crowell head football coach Nathan Hayes.
For Crowell to make even more history and win the schools first state title.
They will have to beat another ranked team in the 5th ranked May Tigers.
But overall the Wildcats are excited about the chance to win it all.
"We are making history. To be in the spot we are. We kept playing hard. We had a lot of tough games. We kept rolling through no we are ready to go to state. To complete our mission to go to state," said Crowell linebacker William Hogan.
