During volleyball season Windthorst's Carli Clifton was a regular in our highlights.
Although her name didn't get mentioned as often as it probably should have, she was the engine which powered the Trojanettes to the state finals.
Clifton did the dirty work.
And now she'll continue to do the dirty work, wearing the same color blue.
Tuesday, Carli signed with North Central Texas College to play volleyball for the next two seasons.
"It is pretty exciting, I work so hard for this. I am so blessed to be going to play volleyball in college. It has been my dream since I have moved here. And I am very lucky to have all of the people who have pushed me and supported me through out my volleyball career. It is really exciting," said Clifton.
Clifton was named all district and all state the past 2 season.
She was selected to play in July's Texas Girls Coaches Association all star volleyball game.
