Boys High School Soccer WFHS vs Del Valle, April 8,2017


Let's start things off with a look back to an incredible 36 hours of soccer at the memorial stadium which led to the Wichita falls coyotes and El Paso Del Valle playing for a chance to advance to the state tournament.

Another El Paso school awaits this morning at Memorial stadium. The conquistadores of el Paso del Valle... Strong south wind, coyotes have that breeze to their back in the first half.

26th minute, free kick for Adrian Botello. Coyotes take advantage of the wind and take a 1-0 lead

2nd half, Opportunities for Del Valle with the wind. David Gallegos free kick knocked away by freshman Israel Gonzalez.

63rd minute, a scary sequence for the Old High fans, Victor Radilla finds the net for the Conquistadores.

Referee rules though that Gonzalez had goalkeeper control, The goal doesn't count.

Coyotes hold on 1-0 in a thriller at Memorial Stadium, advancing to their first ever Soccer state tournament...

That will take place Thursday in Austin.
