Wichita Falls Nighthawks began the 2nd half of the GDFL Season hosting the Dallas Anarchy at Memorial Stadium Saturday night. The Dallas Anarchy picked up a 44-16 win over the Wichita Falls Nighthawks. After the Nighthawks took a 13-6 lead in the 2nd Quarter, the Dallas Anarchy outscored the Nighthawks 38-3 the rest of the game to improve 4-2 on the season. Wichita Falls drops to 4-2. In the first quarter, the Anarchy scored first with a 70 yard touchdown catch by Cory Charles. Then the Nighthawks scored on special teams as Kevin Burnham blocks a Dallas punt in the endzone and the Paul Gonzales gets the ball and returns it for a short touchdown to tie the score at 6. In the second quarter, the Anarchy fumbles the ball and Devin Gonzales takes the ball and goes into the endzone to give Wichita Falls a 13-6 lead. The Nighthawks return to action next Saturday on the road against the Oklahoma City Bountyhunters.
