The 6th ranked Midwestern State men's basketball team got off to a fast start this season winning their first five games.
But the Mustangs have hit what head coach Nelson Haggerty calls a rough patch.
MSU lost a couple of games over the weekend in the Arkansas Tech Thanksgiving Classic.
Out of the seven games Midwestern has played this season, 6 of them have been on the road.
Coach Haggerty feels his team can learn something from the back to back losses.
"When you are winning basketball games and despite the fact that you are winning games, you are still making some mistakes. Sometimes losses help you focus on those mistakes. And become a better basketball ball team because of it."said Haggerty.
The 6th ranked Mustangs look to end the two game losing streak Tuesday at home at the D.L. Ligon Coliseum against U.S.A.0.
This game was rescheduled from a couple of weeks ago due to the icy weather.
Tip off is at 7 p.m.
