MSU has swept 7th seeded Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Both games weren't even close as the Mustangs beat Kingsville by 21 and 23 points.
Nelson Haggerty, MSU Men's Head Basketball Coach: "You know what when you get to the tournament you never know. The teams may because we beat them twice may go a totally different route. The great thing about this is when tournaments hit you gotta play and watch this thing play out. In preparing you just gotta prepare for anything and everything with anything they throw at us especially Kingsville. Because we know their coaches are flexible and versatile at doing some different things."
2nd seeded Midwestern State plays 7th seeded Texas A&M-Kingsville Wednesday afternoon at 2:30.
The winner of this game will play the winner of the 3-6 match up that will be played thursday afternoon at 2:30 between #3 Angelo State and # 6 Cameron.
That semifinal game will be Friday afternoon at 2:30.

That's why the conference tournament is tough three games you have to put together quickly. Against opponents you have seen and you have rivalries with and you know the personnel and kids just making plays and figuring out a way to win.
The 4th seeded Mustangs play 5th seeded Angelo State Thursday night at 6.
The winner of this game will play the winner of the 1-8 match up that will be played Wednesday night at 6 between #1 West Texas A&M and #8 Cameron.
