Tony Romo ran the team huddle for the Cowboys for the first time since December, on Thursday in Oxnard.
Romo said he felt good after the first practice, but wasn’t going to make the mistake of rushing things along.
"Im still going to slowly progress with numbers but just keep -- the throws will be, quality throws, the throws in team period,” Romo said. “I may now throw as many bubbles in the individual, or do some of the other stuff quite as much but just slowly progress, you know I have to do those things but we have a plan that we can stick to it and we're gonna do it."
The Cowboys will practice on Saturday and Sunday before having an off-day on Monday.
