In Seymour, Cody Adams signs a letter of intent to play baseball at Stephen F. Austin for the Lumberjacks.
Adams is a versatile player who can pitch, play outfield and first base.At the plate, Adams has hit .386 the past two seasons knocking in 49 runs.
On the mound he has struck out 186 batters in 97 innings, posting a 2.31 ERA.Adams hopes to improve his game considerably over the next four years.
"Up there I'm not going to be the guy that burns it by everybody so I just need how to place my spots and master all of my pitches to make them all effective and just get people out," says Adams.
