"Austin Craig is our number one boys singles player. He's really come a long ways. He puts the time in on the court. He stays after practice a few times a week. I'm real proud of Austin and expect a big regional tournament from him.
This is Taylor Gray. She is our number one girls player. She's a highly ranked super champs player. All that experience really brings a lot to the table of the Rider tennis program. She's undefeated in both singles and doubles during district this year. She's just kind of a workhorse. She has all the shots. I'm really excited about her game. It's really taken shape and I think she'll help us out this Friday and Saturday.
Serving in the black shirt is part of our number one boys doubles, Ian Boatwright. His partner in the blue shirt Jansen Rouillard. This is the first year they've played together. We've put them at the number one spot and they've had a lot of success. They're really an aggressive doubles team. They enjoy playing together. So it's been a good fit so far. Their confidence is at an all-time high. Hopefully that translates to wins at the regional level.
In the gray shirt is Maddy Rowe. She's just a freshman. She's playing number one doubles and her partner in the white is Taylor Gray. These two girls are a lot of fun to coach. Taylor's done a good job kind of showing Maddy the ropes at the number one spot. They didn't lose a match in district play.
Serving in the gray shirt we have Graham Dunkelberg. He is part of our mixed doubles team playing with Olivia Thacker. They were undefeated in district. They started unsure of themselves and what to expect playing with each other. But they've really enjoyed it and had a lot of success. They're both pretty aggressive players. Sometimes we have to reel them back in. It's one spot in the lineup that all fall we've been able to count on so it's nice having that at the mixed doubles spot. I'm really excited about them. "
