Ann Arnold

Ann Arnold joined the KFDX news team in September 2008.
I moved to Wichita Falls in July 2007, and joined the KFDX news team in September 2008. In April 2011, I became a co-anchor for KFDX-3 News Today.

Each month, I report on a resident of Texoma who gives back to our community in the Spirit of Texoma Award. There are so many people in this town who volunteer, give back and generally make this a wonderful community. I love being able to do these stories. So often, we report on tragedy and heartbreak. These stories show us how many people make this a special place to live. You can nominate someone by clicking here.

My husband James and I have a dog named Bud. He was adopted from the Wichita County Humane Society.

I'm involved with many volunteer activities here in Texoma. I serve on a number of boards including Downtown Wichita Falls Development, North Texas State Hospital Volunteer Services Council and Backdoor Theatre.

I'm a Native Texan who grew up in Liberty, TX (between Houston and Beaumont). In 6th grade, I decided I wanted to be a reporter.

In college, I interned with the NBC affiliate in Austin and had the chance to cover the 2007 Texas Legislative Session. I graduated from the University of Texas in May 2007 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

In my free time I love taking trips, going shopping, listening to live music and watching UT Football! I love living in Texoma, and have made so many wonderful friends here!
