Jeff Trimble will begin his 21st year with the MSU soccer program this fall. The 2010 NSCAA South Central Region Coach of the Year also coaches for a local club team and is very involved in youth soccer. He will be joined by local high school and club coaches as well as current Midwestern women's soccer players. In the half-day camp (Ages 5-8), we develop individual technique and love for the game. Fundamentals of soccer are learned during repetitive skills sessions. Small sided and full field games give players the ability to practice what they have learned in game-like situations. In the full-day camp (Ages 8-13), tactical aspects of the game are stressed. Technical work under pressure, proper technique and decision making are all taught during station work and game situations. A junior high camp has been added and is tailored to the player entering grades 6-8. It will provide a comprehensive advanced workout to prepare players for upper level soccer.
