Accident Between Semi and Car Backs Up Traffic on Central Frwy.

A pin-in accident on the Lloyd Ruby Overpass leaves a teenager with several broken bones, police say.
Traffic is tied up for almost an hour after a semi collides with a car on Central Freeway in the northbound lanes.

Wichita Falls Police say the driver of an 18-wheeler apparently veered from the middle lane to right lane, and the driver of a Mazda was in the right lane.  Police say the Mazda hit the back part of the big rig, trapping the car's driver, an 18 year-old woman, underneath the trailer for 45 minutes.  She's hospitalized with what police say are several broken bones.  Police say her passenger was not hurt.

Wichita Falls Police had to direct drivers to take the Broad Street exit just after the crash around 6:30 this evening, and the Lloyd Ruby Overpass was blocked so that police could investigate the cause of the accident.
