ACS Survivor Dinner Kicks off Relay Celebration

Cancer warriors gathered for a night of food and fun at the annual Survivors' Dinner.

It was all about celebrating life at this year's American Cancer Society Survivors' Dinner.

Those who have won the battle, their family and friends and some who are still in the fight against cancer gathered tonight for the annual dinner at the Wellington.

Team Gregs Plumbing served up a hearty meal and there was also cake for everyone, too.

The event helps survivors, family members, friends and caregivers gear up for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

That is coming up this weekend.

It all gets underway Friday night at 7pm at McNeil Junior High School track.

Donations are always welcome, so grab your friends, form a team and take steps to wipe out cancer.
