Altus Cold Case Murder Suspect Due in Court Monday

Garland Allen is charged with second degree murder.
A man authorities say just recently admitted to killing his wife and burying her body in a remote location is expected to be in court Monday morning.

Garland Allen is charged with second degree murder which could be amended to first degree.

Last month, Altus Police Chief Tim Murphy says Allen led authorities to a remote site he says his wife was buried.

That location is north of Snyder and just north of Tom Steed Reservoir off 183.

District Attorney John Wampler believes Tracy May have been killed during an argument where Allen had a trailer in 2001.

He's due in court Monday for a preliminary hearing.
