Ann Arnold

Ann Arnold joined the KFDX news team in September 2008.
I moved to Wichita Falls in July 2007, and joined the KFDX news team in September 2008. In April 2011, I became a co-anchor for KFDX-3 News Today.

My husband James and I have two dogs. We adopted Bud from the Wichita County Humane Society in 2008. Hope was added to the mix in 2014 after we adopted her from Texas Pit Crew. Hope and Bud are definitely an odd pair, but they are both so sweet!

I'm involved with many volunteer activities here in Texoma. I serve on a number of boards including Downtown Wichita Falls Development and Backdoor Theatre. I've previously served with the North Texas State Hospital Volunteer Services Council. I love being involved in this area, whether it's racing headlong down a hill in a soap box race against Gwyn Bevel or bowling for a cure with Tobin McDuff.

I'm a Native Texan who grew up in Liberty, TX (between Houston and Beaumont). In 6th grade, I decided I wanted to be a reporter.

In college, I interned with the NBC affiliate in Austin and had the chance to cover the 2007 Texas Legislative Session. I graduated from the University of Texas in May 2007 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. I've been able go back every other year for KFDX to cover our local lawmakers in Austin.

In my free time I love taking trips, going shopping, listening to live music and watching UT Football! I love living in Texoma, and have made so many wonderful friends here!
