The drought's continued grip on Texoma is not stopping area farmers and ranchers from heading to the Wichita Falls Ranch and Farm Expo.
The 5th annual event has the J.S. Bridwell Agriculture Center transformed into the latest in farming and ranching equipment technology and services.
Coordinators say this year's show has attracted more than 400 vendors from 27 states and Australia, which are helping farmers and ranchers continue their livelihood despite the lack of rain.
"They are resilient people and that's the business that they're in and one thing you say about farmers and ranchers is they're not quitters and they're in it for the long haul," says Darren Dale, coordinator of the ranch and farm expo.
The Ranch and Farm Expo continues Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the J.S. Bridwell Ag Center.,
Featured events include Scott Daily Training Horse Demonstrations at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. and the Production Bull Sale at 1 p.m.
Admission is free.
