Apollo 11 Artifacts up for Bid

<br>An electrocardiogram of Apollo 11 commander Neil Armstrong's heartbeat is going up for auction....

It's not a piece of history that makes your heart skip a beat ... but it is a very interesting piece of our collective culture.

It's an electrocardiogram of Apollo 11 commander Neil Armstrong's heartbeat.

What makes this truly a piece of American history is due to the fact it was taken when Armstrong first set foot on the moon.

Incredibly, it registered a normal heartbeat .... not the overexcited heart you might have thought.

The ekg is going up for auction, along with other space artifacts including a joystick controller used by his fellow Apollo 11 astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins.

The online auction takes place from May 16th to 23rd.
