Arby's Managers Sentenced in Embezzlement Case

Arby's Managers Sentenced in Embezzlement Case

All three pleaded no contest to charges of theft over $200-thousand.
Three former fast food managers have been sentenced to probation for embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars in 2009.
Troy Burson, LaBrenda Henry, and Crystal Killian were charged with stealing more than $230-thousand from the Arby's on Kemp.
Today in 78th District Court, each was sentenced to 10 years deferred adjudication.
Each defendant will also have to pay $27-thousand in restitution.
Police say the owner reported the thefts in 2009 after the general manager noticed a high volume of deletions of sales on the drive through register.
Such deletions usually indicate customers changing or cancelling their orders, but the number of deletions was far too high for that.
Court documents say other employees reported they saw the managers pocketing money.
The affidavit also states all three managers admitted to taking money.
