Dozens of area businesses are collecting books for children.

The United Way has teamed with the Wichita Falls Public Library and more than 40 businesses to provide books for children ages five and younger.

Coordinators say it's tough for day cares to keep books for that age group because little ones tend to chew on them or damage them in other ways.

So, several businesses are serving as drop-off locations for the City-Wide Children's Book Drive and KFDX is one of them.
