Arrest is Made in Connection to Burkburnett Shooting

One person is arrested in Wichita Falls in connection to an overnight shooting in Burkburnett.
Burkburnett Police say an arrest has been made in connection to an overnight shooting.

24 year old Kalen Anthony O'Conner-Loncar is in the Wichita County Jail on a charge of deadly conduct.

His bond has not yet been set.

Officers were called to the 700 block of East College Street around 9:30.

Police say 2 groups of people were involved in a dispute.

Investigators say someone pulled out a gun and fired several shots toward a home on college before taking off in a vehicle with one or two other people.

No one was injured but the house and a car were shot.

At about 5 am Tuesday, Wichita County Sheriff's Deputies as well as Burkburnett and Wichita Falls Police were at LaDonna Place Apartments on the 2600 block of Southwest Parkway where police say they made at least one arrest in connection to the shooting.

It is not known yet if the person arrested was the shooter but police do say a weapon was recovered.

Officials also say the incident may be gang related.

Police say the shooting is still under investigation.
