Arrest Made in Connection with Danielle Hill Alvarado's Death

Danielle Hill Alvarado's father-in-law, Robert Guerrero Alvarado, is charged with tampering or fabrication with physical evidence.
    An arrest is made in connection with the murder of Danielle Hill Alvarado the woman whose body was uncovered at Burnett Park late last week.
    Police in Abilene arrested 57-year-old Robert Guerrero Alvarado, Danielle's father-in-law, this afternoon.
    He was named in a warrant out of Wichita County.
    He's charged with tampering or fabrication with physical evidence and he's being held in the Taylor County Jail on a $250-thousand bond.
    He's previously been convicted in Abilene for indecent exposure, and was convicted in Wichita County for indecency with a child.
    Robert Alvarado has also been arrested on numerous drug charges.
    Danielle's body was found buried off FM 368 near the Wichita River in Burnett Park.
    Authorities say they received an anonymous tip that led them to exactly where the body was located.
    Danielle was reported missing on January 24, 2010.
    Her husband, Johnathan Alvarado, was the last person to see Danielle alive.
    Jonathan took his own life in September 2011.
    Police say based on Danielle's injuries, they believe she was murdered.
    No word yet on how Robert Alvarado is related to this case, but we have issued public information requests and we'll bring you that information as soon as we get it.
