The Wichita Falls Area Food Bank is getting ready for a big crowd as it prepares to host what it's calling a colossal food giveaway.

The non- profit agency is cleaning out its freezer to make room for other food that's stored off site.

And, that means hundreds of pounds of frozen foods will be given away to Texomans who meet the income guidelines for government assistance.

They're preparing for a packed house Saturday.

"We are expecting quite a crowd.  We even have a little bit of crowd control, as far as traffic goes, that will be happening on Saturday morning.  We're asking everyone to enter on 37th Street and we will have cones everywhere else," says Betsi Lujan, with the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank.

The Colossal Food Giveaway is tomorrow at the food bank on Midwestern Parkway. It starts at 9 a.m. and ends when all the food is gone.

Again, it is for anyone who meets the government assistance income guidelines.
