(NBC News) A series of huge explosions rocked a propane gas plant in central Florida overnight.
Witnesses say the series of blasts at the Blue Rhino facility in Tavares shook houses as far as 20 miles away.
Hundreds of firefighters and law enforcement officers flooded the area to help, but but the impending danger kept them from getting close.
Residents in a one-mile radius of the plant were evacuated out of fear of spreading fire and fumes.
At least four workers were critically wounded, some with serious burns, but all are accounted for.
