Bonnie and Clyde might be the most infamous pair of outlaws in the 20th- century. They committed at least 13- murders and many robberies and burglaries in Texas and other parts of the nation. And now, two weapons and two personal items once belonging to Bonnie and Clyde are going up for auction. Bonnie Parker's Colt Detective Special .38 Revolver that she would often tape to her thigh using white, medical adhesive tape, wasn't enough to save her life on May 23, 1934,  after Texas Rangers ambushed her and her partner in crime, Clyde Barrow. Clyde's weapon of choice was a Colt Model 1911 Government model semi- auto pistol. It was removed from his waistband after the ambush by Texas Rangers and Louisiana lawmen. Authorities also recovered Clyde's pocket watch.
It was made by Elgin. The watch has a Wadsworth 10 karat gold filled screw-back case and was manufactured in 1925. Also up for bid is Bonnie Parker's personal cosmetic case which was retrieved from the couple's car after the shooting.
