Bowlers Come Together For A Cure

Bowling For A Cure brings in attendees to Village Bowl
Teams from all over Texoma battled it out on the lanes for a great cause at this year's Bowl for a Cure.

Bowling wasn't the only attraction for those attending.

A bake sale, silent auction, and raffle tickets sales kept folks entertained and helped to raise money.

Organizers say while this event is fun and games, the cause it supports is what truly brought Texomans together.

Lisa Stephens-Musick with Bowl for a Cure said, "Today is an emotional day because you see all different people in here out to have fun but really to support this cause and it's a cause that our community always supports."

The KFDX team of Tobin McDuff and Ann Arnold competed against other media outlets.

They finished third out of three, but when asked about the experience, Ann said they were just happy to break 100.

Their final score was 103.

Another KFDX group competed in the team part of the event.
