Burk Commissioners to Elect Mayor

Burk commissioners will elect a mayor for the upcoming year at their Tuesday night meeting.
    The city of Burkburnett has three new commissioners and one incumbent commissioner is re-elected after Saturday's city elections.
    Elections will continue at the commissioner's meeting tomorrow night.
    That's when the council will decide who will serve the next term as mayor.
    The Burk commissioner's meeting is tomorrow night at 7 at city hall.
    During the meeting, commissioners will make a recommendation for mayor and then vote.
    Carl Law is currently the mayor of the city.
    He's served in that position for four years, and is eligible to serve another term.
