Camp Fire wants you to use the power of the pen and make a difference in a child's life later this week.

Absolutely Incredible Kid Day is Thursday. It's a day that adults, and even kids, are encouraged to give a written letter of support to special youngsters in their lives.

And a young Camp Fire board member says those letters are important.

"I still have letters from when I was in first grade.  Those letters have a long impact and they're something that you always cherish," says Nathan Alexander, a Camp Fire member and board member.

Camp Fire already has several letters for kids but they would like more.

If you would like to write a letter for Absolutely Incredible Kid Day stop by the Camp Fire office on 9th street from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to get Absolutely Incredible Kid Day stationary to write your letters, envelops and stickers for the little one.
