Another Texoma school district is now allowing school employees to have guns on school campuses.

Childress ISD officials made the decision last Monday to give various school employees access to handguns on campus.

In 2008 Harrold ISD became the first school district in America to allow teachers to carry concealed handguns in classrooms.

Quanah's school board just recently passed a new safety law allowing teachers to do the same.

Unlike Harrold and Quanah employees, Childress employees will not be able to carry them.

Those guns will be located in a secure place.

Childress school officials say those teachers with access will be trained by a security company in the summer and fall.
