Christmas Magic Brings Seasonal Shopping to Wichita Falls

It may only be the first week in November but that doesn't mean it's too early for Christmas shopping.
It may only be the first week in November but that doesn't mean it's too early for Christmas shopping.

The Junior League of Wichita Falls is hosting their 32nd annual Christmas Magic event this weekend.

More than 100 vendors from across several states are packed into the MPEC to sell a variety of Christmas gifts.

Food, clothes and Christmas decor are all on display.

And a variety of performers hit the stage to serenade the crowd Saturday.

The money raised at the door will help the junior league continue to help others in the community through charity work.

Organizers say the event was started to fill a need in the community.

“When they first brought it around it was something that wasn't around Wichita Falls so i think it was just one of those things that they brought it as something new and exciting,” says Christmas Magic Co-chair Lauren Johnson.

If you missed it Saturday, you can still find some great gifts Sunday.

Christmas Magic will be open from noon till 5 p.m.

Tickets are $6 at the door.

It all takes place at the MPEC's Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall.
