In about weeks, Wichita Falls' city councilors will be holding their budget workshop hoping to prioritize what projects need to be worked on for the 2014-2015 fiscal year.

One of those options is continuing work on The Circle Trail.

Parks and Recreation Director Jack Murphy is working on a presentation now updating the council on the progress of the project.

He hopes to gather input and feedback on what city officials feel should be done with the trail.

Murphy says he has an idea of what he wants done.

“Take it to the bluff on the river because that's the reason the city bough that land four years ago, because the, we call it the Wichita Bluff Nature Area, because the bluff, you're about 70 feet above the river and it's one of the prettiest views in town and that's the reason we're taking the trail right by that,” says Murphy.

Currently the city is working to enclose the part of the trail that runs from Lucy Park to Nature Center.
