A Clay County woman is behind bars charged with impersonating her teenage daughter.

Fifty-year-old Renee Brown of Henrietta is charged with online impersonation and fraudulent use of identifying information. Authorities believe she opened credit card accounts and got cell phones and electrical service for herself, but put it in her daughter's name.

Brown was also arrested because Clay County deputies believe she opened a Google Plus account under her daughter's name in attempts to deceive and embarrass the teen and her friends.

The girl told authorities many of the pictures on the account were from her Facebook page and other pictures were girls who looked like her who were shown doing questionable activities she said she would never do.

Brown was originally arrested last month in Clay County on fraudulent use of identifying information, but posted bond. She was arrested Monday night in Wichita County and has been charged with online impersonation. Bond has not been set at this time.
