The cloud seeding plane has been up in the air throughout the afternoon Tuesday in hopes of getting more rain out of these storm clouds.
The cloud seeding plane has been up in the air throughout the afternoon Tuesday in hopes of getting more rain out of these storm clouds.

Wichita Falls city officials say the plane has made at least 3 trips Tuesday afternoon

The first to the Lake Kemp area, then closer to Lake Kickapoo.

It is unclear at this point how many flares, or what type are being used.

This could be one of the city's last chances to seed for now because the contract does not cover July and August both months with typical low rain chances.

However the seeding contract picks back up in September and ends in October.
