A Dallas woman is recovering Monday morning after she was attacked by five pit bulls Sunday.

The attack happened as the woman walked along a trail on the 2300-block of Greer Street at about 10:30 a.m.

A neighbor of the victim told NBC 5 that the woman spotted the dogs on the trail and as they approached she became scared. She then ran and the dogs attacked.
