Death of Woman Found in Freezer Ruled Accidental

The body of 38-year-old Shannon Huddleston was found in a freezer at her home in Mineral Wells.
Investigators say a Mineral Wells woman found dead in a freezer in August was on drugs and her death was accidental.

A report from the Dallas County Medical Examiner states 38-year-old Shannon Huddleson had meth in her system.

It states she died of hypothermia.

According to the affidavit, Huddleston's husband said his wife was alive when he left for work.

Hours later, the woman's 19-year-old son found her body face up in a chest-type freezer in the garage of the family's home.

Investigators say she had texted her supervisor the morning of her death saying she was not feeling well and would not be at work.

They say their investigation shows no signs of foul play and they've ruled the death as an accident.
