Dell Computers President Gives Business Advice at I.D.E.A. WF Luncheon

Steve Felice, president and chief commercial officer for Dell Computers, relayed his business expertise during Wednesday's I.D.E.A. WF luncheon.

He's known as one of the great business minds of this time, and at today's I.D.E.A. WF luncheon, he gave a presentation on the importance of entrepreneurship.

Steve Felice is the president and chief commercial officer for Dell Computers.

He's been with the company for 14 years.

As the world transitions from PC domination to reliance on other forms of technology, Felice has been instrumental in making sure Dell stays successful.

He says it's critical for companies to adapt to their times, technology, and their market.

"Probably more than ever, entrepreneurs need to be very nimble, they need to know what their competitors are doing, they need to shift their business; today, they call it pivoting," Felice says.  "They need to pivot their business to where the market is headed."

Felice says Dell has done that and is now an end-to-end solutions company that has a global footprint.

He says when he joined the company, most of the business was in the US.

Now, 50 percent of the business is in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
