Democrat Running as Write-in Candidate in Jack County

Jack County will have a Democrat running for the County Attorney position, but he won't be the Democratic candidate.
Earlier this year, the current County Attorney, Mike Mask who was running unopposed as a Democrat, voted in the Republican Primary.

Because of that, Mask is not allowed by law to appear on the November ballot.

So now in order to insure Jack County will have a County Attorney, Michael Brad Dixon will be Jack County's write-in candidate for the open position.

Dixon has been practicing law since 1984, and said he's excited about his new opportunity.

"I intend to treat everybody the same, I don't care if you're the richest guy on the mountain or the poorest guy on the street," explained Dixon, "the law is the same for everyone."

Because there was no Republican running for the County Attorney position, and because the Democratic candidate was disqualified, Dixon said he really only needs one vote in order to win the race.
