A newly released Disney movie is helping homeless families in Texoma, and you can help them, too.

The new movie The Odd Life of Timothy Green is being used to generate new packages of socks for families at Faith Mission and Faith Refuge for Women.

One mother at Faith Refuge says when it comes to keeping little feet healthy, sock are a must.

"Socks are very important. So, they keep the kids from sweating feet and funguses and stuff. Helps them wear their shoes right," says Marcellina Gaines, who lives at Faith Refuge.

To participate, just drop off brand new pairs or packages of adult or kids socks to Faith Mission at 1700 Travis Street or Faith Refuge for Women at 710 Hatton Road.

The drive ends Monday, September 3rd.
