Nearly half a dozen dogs, surrendered last week from the Wichita Falls home of a suspected hoarder, are getting a new lease on life.

Little Linn and Dale are two dogs Animal Services officials say were surrendered from that home on Lindale Drive.

The dogs, along with three others, were the only ones officials say were healthy enough to be put up for adoption.

Overall, officials say 56 cats and dogs were at the Lindale home and only five of those dogs were healthy enough to avoid being euthanized.

Animal Services officials also say on April 18th, the same owner surrendered 23 sick dogs and cats from a home on Windthorst Road.

Officials say all of those animal had to be put down.
