The city of Wichita Falls has community garden plots for rent now. The plots are at the Smith Street Community Garden at 1100 Smith. Both well and rain water are available at the site.

8 by 8 foot plots are for rent to individuals, businesses, civic groups, schools and other organizations. You can rent a plot for the entire year, or for one growing season.

The plots are mulched and composted, and the area is fenced and has video surveillance.

Cost for senior citizens is $20 a year or $15 a season. For others the rent is $25 a year or $20 a season.
