Drought Update 8-24-12: More of the Same

The drought weakens in some areas while other areas see no change.
While Category 5 "exceptional drought" remains in Texoma, there were some areas that saw improvement due to recent rain fall. The NIDIS or National Integrated Drought Information System, also known as the U.S. Drought Monitor has released the latest information on drought in Texoma.  

As of Thursday, August 21st, 2012 here is how the drought breaks down:
