Drought Update 9-14-12

Recent Rains chip away at the drought mainly in southeast Texoma.
After a period of rainfall about a week ago we have received days full of hot sunshine.  However that sunshine did not result in any change in the recent drought data.

The NIDIS or National Integrated Drought Information System, also known as the U.S. Drought Monitor has released the latest information on drought in Texoma.  

As of Thursday, August 30, 2012 here is how the drought breaks down:
