Astronauts prepare for emergency repairs to International Space Station.
(NBC News) A problem on the International Space Station has astronauts gearing up for a series of emergency spacewalks.

Last week, a critical cooling system on-board the ISS failed.

An external valve that needs to be replaced inside a giant pump module.

It's a job that will take two or more spacewalks to fix.

Astronauts will begin replacing the refrigerator-sized part on Saturday, with a second space-walk planned for Tuesday.
