Police say 32-year-old Rocky Buckley died of a gunshot wound to the torso.
A Wichita Falls father of four is killed in a shooting yesterday evening at a home near Lake Wichita Park.
At this time, Wichita Falls police are not releasing the shooter's name.
We do, however, know the identity of the victim.
He's 32-year-old Rocky Buckley who lived here in Wichita Falls.
Buckley worked as a driller in the oil industry.
Friends describe him as a caring father of four, and a loving husband.
"He raised those four kids and worked so very hard for them.  He was the best brother to me," Buckley's sister says.
"Everyone loved Rocky.  You'll never find anybody that had anything bad to say about Rocky," Buckley's wife says.
Police responded to a home in the 47-hundred block of Karla, just off Fairway, after a man called 911 to report he had shot someone.
That was just before 6:30 last night.
Police spokesperson Sgt. Joe Snyder says when officers arrived on the scene, they found Buckley outside the home on the ground .
He was taken to United Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound in the torso.
Snyder says all witnesses and those involved have been interviewed.
No arrest has been made at this time.
Police are treating this case as a murder, and it remains under investigation.
Buckley's services are scheduled for Tuesday at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home.
    Time is not yet set.
