Former Munday Moguls standout Dee Paul confirmed he is leaving Texas Tech after one season in which he played three games.
He says the reason for leaving is a "miscommunication with the coaches." Paul says he plans on continuing his football career and has received interest from several D-I and D-II schools. He said Midwestern State, Tarleton State and Abilene Christian are likely destinations where he will continue his education and football career. NCAA transfer rules will force Paul to sit out one season but he will maintain three years of eligibility.
