A former Sheppard Air Force Base pilot who was in instructor pilot school remains jailed in Wichita County awaiting transfer after his court martial.

On Tuesday, former Lt. Benjamin Sears was found guilty and sentenced for exposing himself to students at MSU on at least two occasions. He was sentenced to removal from the air force and 30 days confinement.

Witnesses say they saw Sears' genitals when he was wearing his air force athletic shorts without underwear. Before his sentencing, Sears told the court-martial panel he was sorry for the pain he caused. He said he brought disgrace to the air force and that he knows his career might be over. He also apologized to the students at Midwestern who were impacted by his actions.

The next court martial at Sheppard involving alleged sexual improprieties is scheduled to begin on May 27th.

Airman 1st Class Brandur Jensen is charged with violation of article 120-b which covers sexual assault. He is accused of sexual assault of a child while in Reno, Nevada, and of using his cell phone and internet to attempt to entice two other underage girls to engage in sexual activity.

If convicted of the allegations, Jensen faces a maximum punishment of confinement for life, dishonorable discharge and forfeiture of all pay and allowances.
